My co-workers and I have been making fun of Texas alot lately.... Gotta stop doing that; but in the legal world, it's so easy to:

(2) Texas has the most number of executions annually of any state
(1) When you walk into a restaurant in Texas, you have to check your gun at the door.


Ok, but Texas does have some of the nicest and faithful people I've ever met: LIB, LN, JD, JS...

The Warriors signed Adonal Foyle to a 5 year $41 million contract... what the heck?!?!?!?!?! Sign someone cheap like Jarron Collins or Jason Collins and then go sign Kobe!!!!! Or someone worth the money! The Warriors are just going to be mediocre... again...

Edit: Ok, someone explain to me how we give Adonal Foyle, a guy who averaged 3 pts per game and maybe 4-5 boards, over $ 8 million a year when the Jazz can get Carlos Boozer, AN ALL-STAR, $10 million a year. I mean, spend $2 million more and get an All-star for crying out loud.

So, John Kerry has chosen his vice presidential running mate, Sen. John Edwards. I really like Edwards. In fact, I plan to read his book. Edwards is a guy I can really respect as the son of a middle class family who was the first in his family to get a college education. Not to mention, he went to a fairly well respected law school, UNC-Chapel Hill, and graduated with honors. No easy accomplishment there...
