I feel the winds of change coming.
The opening ode in David Crowder Band's "Can You Hear Us?" CD is one of the most beautiful I have heard. Check out the lyrics:

I need words
As wide as sky
I need language large as
this longing inside
and I need a voice
bigger than mine
and I need a song to sing you
that I've yet to find

I need you
Oh, I need you
I need you
Oh, I need you

To be here now
To be here now
To hear me now
To hear me now

The song resonates for me. If you haven't gotten the CD yet, you should. It's worth the price of admission.

The Lord's been moving me to change.... slowly but surely, with a tug here and a push there...

Anyways, on tap for tonight, Cityteam Ministries, then JY's birthday dinner.
To Top it off, I have 4 birthday dinners I've got to either attend or do in the next 3 weeks. Two 1 on 1 dinners and two big group dinners... and why is it that my group dinners are for guy friends and my 1 on 1 dinners are for female friends (no, not interested in either one)? Oh yeah, because neither of these female friends are having their own big group dinner...
I am ridiculously busy... Perspectives, Lumps, Law school, work, family moving.... getting pulled in a million directions...ai yah! But not to worry, I won't get burned out...

Sometimes, the Lord sends you a reaffirmation that you really can influence people by showing that you care, spending time with them in a setting that they are comfortable in, challenging them to think in a different way... this weekend I had one of those times and it was uplifting.
