Ugh. Practice exams are no fun at all. 3 Hours of rapid reading, analyzing, thinking, and typing.... afterwards, a huge headache... especially, when I discover that I completely whiffed on one third of the exam (as in, swing and miss!!). Good thing the real exam's on Thursday. I gotta work on identifying crim law policy questions and then identifying good crim law policy answers.

Ok, maybe I'm not a primetime player, perhaps just a waterboy. I took my first practice final today under real test conditions. (Or even harder conditions; allowed one page cheatsheet, I took it w/o any cheatsheet) Got a little over half the issues which is probably about a B. I spent way too much time on the minor issues so that I didn't even get to a major issue... I'm stupid like that. The problem is I'm too nitpicky with the little things. I IRAC them to death. Ok, time to change up how I write and organize.

Last day of class: yesterday. First Final: Monday. Last Final: Thursday, December 18th. Crunchtime. Game time. Showtime. To paraphrase a white boy rapper: I only got one shot, I better not miss.... Time to kick butt....

When all this finals craziness is over, someone needs to remind me to send an email to Abunny and all the other ex-Lumps folks whom I've seemed to lost touch with in my busy-ness to study for finals...
Glannon, hands down, is the best Civ Pro Commercial Outline book you can get. If you read it and do all the review questions at the back of each chapter, you'll have an amazing sense of clarity on civ pro. It's simply amazing. My analysis is pretty clear now when doing personal jurisdiction questions. Up to bat: Challenges to personal jx, Federal Question jx, Diversity jx, subject matter/personal jx combo, Removal, Venue, and Eerie.... yay, all for tomorrow

This has got to be one of the more impressive things I've seen in awhile. If you were a big fan of the Nintendo or can simply appreciate video game genius, watch this guy beat Super Mario Brothers in 11 minutes.
