My eight year old cousin is so cute. While watching Star Wars, she asked me, "Do you think they made the movie in space?" So cute.
Ok, you heard it here first... Reggie Williams, wide receiver from the University of Washington's going to be one heckuva football player. The guy has it all, height, strength, and break away speed...basically Randy Moss minus the attitude. I've watched him play three times this year (vs. UCLA, vs. USC, and vs. Oregon) and in all three games, he was like a man playing against boys. Simply amazing.
My bro AP has been accepted to Syracuse's School for International Relations.... congratulations AP!!
One more motivation for me to get going on my PT, more sunlight, less light by laptop screen. I've also been bugging people on IM pretty consistently so I think they'll be relieved even more when I get out and about. But if I have been buggin' you on IM, this link is for you. =P

Ok, my sister and I are going to bring my two cousins ages 8 and 10 to Harry Potter... after I get healthy again...more motivation for me to work harder.
ok enough serious talk for now, moving on to goofball talk...
You know what a good friend of mine and a bro in Christ said to his current significant other? "If you want to be a young widow, follow me." I know sometimes, I'm a big goofball and sometimes I'm very serious but lately, I realize that there are a lot of people who are quite a bit more mature and a bit more serious than I have ever been.
Sometimes just knowing someone who has given up hopes and dreams to follow his or her heart and to submit to the will of God is an inspiration in and of itself. Courage and trust. Two things needed for a leap of faith.

The hardest part about the application process is asking people to write a recommendation for you. First of all, you have to choose recommenders. Do you choose people who know you pretty well? Do you choose someone who can write well? Do you choose someone who is high in stature but may not know you very well? Do you choose a professor who would have written a letter of rec for you 4 years ago but right now probably doesn't remember you? Decisions...decisions... the other things that could be a problem in terms of requesting a letter of recommendation is that in requesting it, you may make that person feel uncomfortable and in doing so, he/she may give you a negative letter of recommendation. (That would be very bad.) I realize that timing and tactful presentation is everything here...
5 days from now, it will be the one year anniversary of my Dad passing away. It's pretty hard to believe that it's been one year. So much has happened and during many events during this past year I wished that my Dad could have been there to see it.Those are the times when it's most difficult. It's amazing when you lose a loved one just how often you cry yourself to sleep.

Today, I had my first physical therapy appointment. It was pretty brief actually as I was in and out of there in 45 minutes. My physical therapist is a Lowell High alum too and she's actually a couple years older than me. She used to know my too cool sis-in-christ LK in high school. Anyways, looks like I'll be doing alot of ankle exercises and calf muscle exercises. Afterwords, lunch with my Uncle Al at one of my favorite classic UCLA establishments, Johnny Rockets and then I met up with my sis-in-Christ JH at the Hotel Nikko which was holding the LSAC Law School Forum today. Wow, there are alot of people who want to go to law school... it's definitely a competition for limited spots in various law schools. And especially competitive at the schools I'm applying to... I'm definitely going to need a little luck... anyways, we'll see how it all shakes out later. Now, I really need to get going on my personal statements.... my goal, 1st draft done by the end of the week.

San Francisco was just named the best city in the world...but we couldn't beat out New York for the Olympics in 2012. What the heck?!?!
One of my good friends from UCLA, MJ, paid me a great complement during our senior year. When his girlfriend asked him this question, "If you had to fly in to the depths of hell on a rescue mission, whom would you choose to be your wingman?" and he replied, "Alf". She told me about this incident later on but I have to admit, it made me feel good that someone would trust me that much. So, who would you choose to be your wingman on a rescue mission?
