Ok, well, I'm going to be offline for awhile. Moving. I'll see y'all when I have time to blog at work or when I get DSL installed at my new home.
Even though this is more of a Jesuit saying, it still holds true,

"Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam"
Well, the first of, hopefully, many law school acceptance letters arrived at my new home today. I'm in at Indiana University's law school in Bloomington with a merit scholarship. The letter had a nice handwritten note from the Dean of Admissions saying some quite nice things about my application. I wasn't going to apply to Indiana but because they sent me a fee waiver, I figured "why not?" So yeah, we'll see if I get in anywhere else.

I'm working on Monday. Sucks. Though at least, I'll be getting a in-lieu-of day so I'll get the time off later...

Tonight, I watched my favorite TV show for the first time in at least six months, "The West Wing". One of the reasons why I love TWW is because of great great quotes. Check these out.

"To defend everything is to defend nothing." -Frederick the Great, but paraphrased in the show.

Today I feel stressed at work. It seems that there's a ton of stuff due. So many items that need to be done soon. Almost crushing in its weight...

Can't wait til law school.
This past Sunday, Pastor Jeff's message was about friendship, particularly true friendship. True friendships are rare. The man with many companions is poor; the man with few true friends, rich beyond measure. The message that true friendships encourage but at the same time, challenge so that the friendship can grow and become stronger...

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. " -Proverbs 27:17

Last week, KL gave me a call from all the way out in Michigan so that we could talk about our recent struggles and pray for each other. I think KL and MT are the only bros who would totally feel comfortable praying with me over the phone. How fortunate I am to have such friendships.

Well, I think the format and vision for Lumps is going to change. Mostly because it feels like there is a bit too much status quo and I'm glad that I'm not the only one who feels it. DC, SW, and I spent the weee hours of Saturday night talking about Lumps and how to improve it. We vented some of our frustrations and had some constructive conversation about changing the format and vision of lumps such that our bros and sisters would be challenged in their walk. Anti-status-quo. Anti-establishment. Focus on His Word. Focus on His kingdom.

The winds of change are indeed here.
