"But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses." 1 Timothy 6:11-12

Keep fighting the good fight, all of you. It's worth it.

The worst thing about law school is that I've had to reluctantly give up certain ministries because I simply don't have the time to support them: Prayer ministry, Mentoring, and any type of serving at SCBC. I'm still a ministering to others; just at my law school. It's plain to me that alot of my law school class mates are hurting, stressed out, and really unsure of their lives. I can only hope that God uses me to show them His love and truth... as for the other ministries out there, I just have to entrust to Him, that where I cannot serve, others will step up.

Ok, in keeping with the theme that law school is just like high school; we have a semi-formal on October 25th and just like in high school, I ask myself... should I go? should I not go? If I go, I'm going to have to find a date kinda fast.... hrm, semi-formals are overrated...

So I found out last week that there's one guy from my Lowell High School class who is here in the same 1st year class as me at Hastings. After Lowell, he went on to Harvard for undergrad. What the heck is he doing here at Hastings? I remember that even back in high school, all he wanted to be was an attorney. I would have figured that he would've gone to law school years ago...
When I look back at last year's post-season moves, I think it was a mistake to sign Jose Cruz Jr. We shoulda kept Reggie Sanders (he who hit 32 homers this year and had 15 SB's to boot!). We should have saved money, kept Russ Ortiz (a great #2 starter!), signed Durham, Grissom, and Perez... and that shoulda been it. Midway through this season, I hated the Ponson move and I still think we should have gotten Javier Vazquez.... man, hindsight is 20/20. Like I said, now I can't wait to see what happens next year...
