The Warriors drafted a center from Russia... just great... I don't have much hope for big men from Europe. The best ones I've ever seen were Arvydas Sabonis and Vlade Divac. While they both were decent, I have little faith that the newest Warrior is even half as good...

I stand corrected. Latvia it is. I generally qualify big men as either 4's (Power forwards) or 5's (centers). Marciulonis wasn't a big man. He was a 2-guard, or an occasional small 3 (small forward). Kirilenko is a 3. Besides Sabonis and Vlade, I can't remember any other decent eastern European big men...
