Started working for a Bankruptcy judge here in Sacramento. Man, this stuff is very complicated. I'm learning lots though...

However, the court is filled with broken people, broken promises, and broken souls. All I can do is try to be as just as possible in applying the law...

What am I doing? I'm writing tentative rulings for the judge... which means I sometimes gets to decide whether a family loses their home, whether a car should be repossessed, whether banks can foreclose... etc. etc. I can only do so much as I have to apply the law. However, I'll try to be compassionate.
