Nick Van Exel for Dale Davis + Dan Dickau... well, the Warriors got rid of Van Exel and his huge contract... in exchange, we got a couple guys with contracts expiring next year. Davis will most likely play lots of minutes at Center and at PF for us and Dickau, well, Dickau can be a 3rd string PG who could one day be an adequate backup (maybe).... the good news is, next summer, the Warriors could sign a superstar to a max contract! A glimmer of hope...

I think the Warriors are taking their time, waiting for teams to become more desperate for a center to trade Damp away. Right now, Atlanta and New York have offered crud for Damp and I don't think the Warriors want any of what they have to offer. Personally, I'd love to see the Warriors get a draft pick out of this... first or second round...
