So today, in class, one of my classmates asked a bad question and my professor made fun of her in a "smartass" (my professor's words not mine) way in which the class then subsequently laughed for the most part. Then he started lecturing again for awhile... but she started crying in the middle of class and my professor stopped class to apologize to her for his "smartass" remark... I felt bad for her and I felt a guilty for laughing along with the class so I bought her white roses during our break to help her feel better and to apologize for my insensitive behavior.

Law school is not for the feint of heart...
