Looks like I will not be moving to the East Coast... got this email (paraphrased) yesterday:

"Dear Alfdabruin,
Sorry chap, we can't offer you nor anyone else a job. We just don't have the budget to hire anyone. We hope one day we will have a budget to hire you. Best of luck."
